Sophie Turner is asking the judge to “reactivate” her divorce proceedings with Joe Jonas after settlement talks over child custody failed
Sophie Turner has reportedly sought court intervention to speed up her divorce from Joe Jonas after unsuccessful settlement negotiations. The couple, who announced their divorce in September 2023, had already resolved their property matters based on an existing prenuptial agreement.
The main point of contention remains custody of their children. Sophie intends to move to England with the children, an idea that Joe rejected, leading to Sophie accusing her of unlawfully withholding the children in the United States. She later withdrew her legal claim under child abduction laws and attempted to resolve the custody dispute privately.

Sophie's documents, obtained by TMZ, call for the “reactivation” of divorce proceedings, which have been put on hold as the former couple entered mediation to negotiate a property and child custody agreement.
However, since the talks were deadlocked, she has asked the court to reopen the divorce proceedings and address the custody issue. The couple has two daughters, born in July 2020 and July 2022. Recent pictures show that both Joe and Sophie have found new romantic partners: he is now dating Stormi Bree, while she has hooked up with Perry Pearson.
