The Fast and Furious actor has hit out at his former wife Samantha Lee after their tough alimony case. After their split, he was charged with contempt of court, and the court ordered the actor to pay his ex-wife (and her attorneys, who are included in the total) a whopping $636,000.

The court made the decision after he refused to pay $10,000 a month in child support (and after he appeared dissatisfied with paying huge amounts of child support). Gibson was not happy with the result, which the judge told him directly, saying:

“It’s not a punishment for you. Put the money where it belongs: in the child!”

The actor already pays a huge alimony to his teenage daughter Shayla from his previous marriage to Norman Mitchell.

Tyrese Gibson bravely declared he could pay more than half a million dollars for his ex-wife’s child support and lawyers. But he thinks the judge got him dirty, and that’s why he kept fighting it in court.

As previously reported, Gibson refused to pay the $10,000 a month child support for which he was being held in court. After the hearing, the actor criticized the judge on social media, and the judge dropped the matter, ordering the singer to pay his ex-wife $238,000 and $399,000 in legal fees.

Gibson also revealed that Lee asked for a lot more than she needed to care for their four-year-old daughter, Soraya. He concluded by saying that it wasn’t about the money for him, it was about standing up for what was right.
