WILLEMSTAD – Concrete agreements reached regarding the arrears in maintenance cases. This was reported by Justice Minister Hold Hato (MFK) on his Facebook page. The agreements were made during a meeting with the Judicial Care Implementation Organization (UOJZ).
Multiple parties took part attended the meeting, including a representative of the lawyers and the Court. Officials from the Ministry of Justice were also present. The aim of the meeting was to clear the backlog of maintenance cases being handled by the UOJZ, the former Guardianship Council.
UOJZ and the Ministry of Justice did not elaborate on the steps to be taken, but they did mention that people whose applications are pending with UOJZ should wait patiently for their resolution. “We are working hard to ensure that all applications are processed quickly and efficiently,” the minister said.
