Hardik Pandya and his wife split up; 70% of the cricketer's assets will reportedly be paid as maintenance – SPORT – GENERAL

MUMBAI: Rumours are rife on social media about a possible separation between Indian vice-captain and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya and his wife Natasha Stankovic. Natasha's removal of Hardik's name from her Instagram bio has fuelled the speculations. She has also changed her name on Instagram to Natasha Stankovic, adding to the divorce rumours.

Attentive social media users have noticed that the couple has not posted any recent photos together and Natasha was absent during an IPL match. Also, Hardik has not sent his wife any birthday wishes. This has further fuelled divorce speculation. New reports suggest that in case of a split, Hardik will have to pay Natasha 70 percent of his assets as maintenance.

Hardik Pandya and Serbian actress/model Natasha Stankovic got married in 2020. The couple has a son. They renewed their wedding ceremony in February 2023, which was due to their original marriage during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, so far, neither Hardik nor Natasha has responded to the breakup rumours.

In addition to personal challenges, Pandya also faced professional setbacks in his career. Mumbai Indians, languishing at the bottom of the IPL points table, failed to make the playoffs. Pandya returned to Mumbai Indians from Gujarat Titans for the 2024 IPL season, where he was unexpectedly named captain, replacing Rohit Sharma. This decision angered fans, resulting in Pandya being booed during matches and facing heavy criticism. Mumbai Indians managed to win only four out of 14 matches in the IPL season.
