Kevin Hunter sells mansion for $1.25 million after losing child support lawsuit –

Kevin Hunter, Wendy Williams' ex-husband, has finally sold his Florida mansion that he purchased after his divorce from Williams. According to documents obtained by Radar Online, Hunter was forced to sell the $1.25 million mansion after losing a long battle over child support payments.

Hunter's five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion was nearly 3,400 square feet in size and was located in Parkland, Florida. He lived there for three years with his girlfriend and former lover Sharina Hudson after purchasing it for $795,600.

The television producer ran into financial trouble after Williams allegedly stopped paying her monthly alimony to him after she began a legal battle with Wells Fargo over inadequate access to her extensive assets. The 59-year-old media personality claimed to be a victim of financial exploitation and said her funds had been frozen.

Hunter attempted to enforce continued child support payments, but the judge ruled that there was no urgency and dropped the matter for the time being, despite Hunter claiming he was in financial difficulty.

He told the court: “I am behind on most of my bills. I currently live in a community that requires homeowners association payments, and I am behind on that bill. If the homeowners association fees are not paid, foreclosure will soon follow.”

He continued, “I am behind on credit card payments because I have no money since the settlement payments were suspended. My life has been severely disrupted since the plaintiff stopped making payments under our settlement agreement.”

Hunter was forced to sell his home after UBS Bank USA sued him for allegedly owing $20,000 on his credit card. UBS requested that the court enter a default judgment in its favor because Hunter allegedly ignored the case despite being officially served with the required legal paperwork.

The complaint stated, “Defendant failed to make the minimum monthly payments by the payment date as required by the Cardholder Agreement,” and ordered Hunter to pay the full amount owed as soon as possible.
