Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers finalize custody agreement – including candy and smoking terms

Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers have agreed custody of their two children, Harper, 8, and Ford, 6.

According to documents obtained by ET, the 36-year-old Call Me By Your Name actor and his ex-wife, 40, have agreed on “joint custody,” meaning that both Hammer and Chambers “will have joint custody of each other.” work together and come to an agreement”. and all decisions related to the health, education and well-being of her two children.

The agreement did not come about without a number of conditions. According to the documents, both parties agree that it is not in the “best interests of their children to consistently consume candy during a parent’s custody” and that they will both refrain from giving candy to their children.

They also agreed to co-parenting counseling and agreed that neither would smoke around their children.

The settlement comes just weeks after the former couple finalized their divorce after nearly three years.

According to a default statement obtained by ET last month, Hammer and Chambers “have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and marital or civil partnership rights, including maintenance, the original of which is being or has been presented to the court” and the couple are asking “the court “. [to] approve the agreement.”

Hammer and Chambers announced on social media in July 2020 that they were going their separate ways after ten years, sharing identical statements that read, “Thirteen years as best friends, soul mates, partners and then parents. It’s been an incredible journey but together, we decided to turn the page and put our marriage behind us. As we move into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority.”

Chambers filed for the social network star’s divorce shortly thereafter, and Hammer responded to Chambers’ petition for divorce around the same time.

In the original divorce documents, Chambers cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation and requested sole custody of their two children. Hammer, meanwhile, called for joint custody of the children.

The filing comes in the run-up to the myriad of allegations and claims several women have made against Hammer over his sexual fantasies. Hammer has also been accused of rape, mental, emotional and sexual abuse at the hands of a woman named Effie.

Hammer’s attorney completely dismissed her claims, telling ET in a statement at the time: “From day one, Mr. Hammer has maintained that all of his interactions with… [Effie] — and with every other of his sexual partners, for that matter — were entirely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually involved.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in May concluded its nearly two-year investigation into allegations against the ailing actor and concluded that no charges would be pressed against him.

Following the prosecutor’s decision, a source told ET that Hammer was delighted to clear his name and is now working to put things right with his children and ex-wife.

“Armie was shocked and didn’t know that this case would be closed today. He’s over the moon to be able to clear his name, especially after spending so much money on legal fees and everything else,” the source said. “Right now his top priority is to get things straight with his children and Elizabeth. His biggest fear is that one day his children will see negative articles about him, so he’s keen to build their trust and show them the father and man he really is.”

While his family is his top priority, the source also noted that Hammer was hoping to get back to work and was focusing on his career.

The source continued, “Apart from that, he’s focused on his career and hopes and believes he’ll get back to work. He hasn’t finalized what he’s going to do or what his big reveal will be, but he is.” I’m looking forward to putting the pieces back together and getting my life back on track.
