Jesse Williams and ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee settle custody battle

jess williams has reached a new custody agreement with his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee.

According to court documents obtained by E! News, the Grey’s Anatomy star and the real estate agent will continue to share custody of their daughter sadie8 and son Maceo6, though Williams will have “undecided authority over COVID-19 protocols” for the year if they can’t agree on things like vaccinations for their children.

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted Williams’ request to change his custody plan to coincide with his work in this spring’s Broadway production of Take Me Out. Per the judge’s decision, the 40-year-old actor will now spend four consecutive days a month in New York with his children, with two of those days being weekends.

Although Drake-Lee’s original request to reduce Williams’ parental leave was denied, the judge granted her request that if her ex “cancels a parental leave, he can’t ‘cancel’ later” unless there is a mutual one written agreement, according to the documents. As a result, the two parents must “meet and consult” about extracurricular activities for their children, according to the documents.
