According to Melody, Martell is being sued for custody after a video surfaced of them on a household trip
Melody and Martell Holt’s dissolution of their marriage played out viciously on the OWN reality television series Love & Marriage: Huntsville, and now Melody says Martell has sued her for full custody. The custody battle comes after the two took a family vacation with their children. Martell is also dating another reality star.

Melody says she is currently in a custody battle with Martell
It was Melody who filed for divorce in May 2020. Their divorce was finalized a year later. BOSSIP reports that when the former couple divorced, they agreed to liquidate the companies in which they had common interests.

<p>They were granted joint legal and physical custody of their four minor children. As there was no formal custody agreement, they agreed to work together to establish a weekly schedule. Additionally, no child support or alimony was paid, and both agreed to share expenses for their children. But things have changed.</p>
<p>In a recent interview with The Shade Room, Melody revealed that she is in a custody battle with her ex. “It’s interesting… since I first went in 2020, we’ve had week-to-week off. Sometimes two weeks off and three weeks off, whatever. We’ve been exchanging ideas for a long time. Well, it’s very interesting, I would say. We already have joint custody. [He’s looking for full custody],” she explained.</p>

<p>Melody’s reveal comes just weeks after the former power couple took a family vacation to Destin, FL. The vacation surprised fans as they didn’t film any scenes together in Season 4 of the OWN reality series. After the explosive Season 3 reunion, Melody vowed she wouldn’t film with Martell again unless he learned to talk to her and hold her grudges. Martell revealed in the midseason finale that getting along and being parents together was important to them.</p>

Martell is now dating “RHOA” star Sheree Whitfield
While the ex-girlfriends continue to fight in court, Martell has found a new lady. Photos and videos of him with RHOA OG Sheree Whitfield surfaced. Days later, Whitfield confirmed that she and Martell have been dating for two months. Melody later told TMZ that she learned that Martell saw Whitfield online and that he had already introduced her to their children unbeknownst to Melody.
